A dry day today, but rain is going to return to the area by the end of the weekend. Saturday, however, will be dry with the high temperature returning to the mid 50s. A few rain showers will arrive for Sunday due to the passage of a cold front. The cooler air will kick into full gear on Wednesday, but that is due to another system. Monday will be cloudy with a few more showers as Sunday's system slides off to the north. Another system will move in and bring a few showers with it too.

Tuesday will bring a high temperature near 40, but rain will become more widespread. In addition to the rain, cooler air will move in, causing the rain to transition over to snow. Exactly when the switch over will occur is still up in the air, so we will keep you posted on how this system develops over the next few days. Wednesday will be cloudy with snow showers wrapping up and drier air returning.
